The CMS way of design is geared towards businesses or people which would have a lot of changing content to their site. The CMS is very easy to learn and keep updated on your own provided you have the time (some businesses don't) In a few hours you could easily manage virtually any aspect of your entire website from any computer with an internet connection!

The "basic" website is some what of the old school way of doing things but is still a great and affordable way for you or your company to have a web presence! It is structured around clients who are looking for a static website where the information would not change as much. The basic design still gives you great creative control but it does not have the "Do It Yourself" aspect making it harder on some companies to stay up to date in the fast paced business world.
